Nathan King Design (NKDSN) is a strategy-based graphic design studio located in the New York City area. Small businesses and large companies can benefit from a graphic design projects such as logo design, identity design, package design and brochure design. All graphic design projects begin with research, which along with your business objectives and marketing plans will determine the best way to differentiate you from your competitors.

WHY YOU NEED GRAPHIC DESIGN

Like any other company out there, we're trying to overcome the competition and make an attempt to succeed in today's overcrowded market. We don't use mob-like methods to get rid of our competition such as kidnapping or sabotage, although it is tempting. When starting a graphic design project, your business strategies and marketing goals must be considered. Our creativity will bring emotion and personality into your company that will help you rise above the competition and make a strong impression. We’ve worked with companies that range from small startup businesses to larger multi-division companies.

WHAT DOES NKDSN BRING TO EACH PROJECT?

Nathan King Design combines strategy with creativity to create graphic design that will effectively communicate. We see each project as a new challenge to overcome. There are a number of important steps we take with each and every graphic design project. Our graphic design process provides structure to ensure the best creative outcome and also helps deliver your project on-time and on-budget. Be sure to look through the graphic design portfolio.

DESIGN PROCESS

The graphic design process plays a key role in communicating your company's goals:

PHASE ONE - Define the Problem

In our first meeting or two we will help you visualize and define the graphic design project. This is done by discussing your business and marketing objectives, discussing your competition and opportunities. The end state of the project is visualized; giving us a well defined starting point and finish line.

PHASE TWO - Competitive Landscape

Next, we analyze the competition. In order to help differentiate you, we take a look at what your competitors are doing to try to find a better opportunity in the market. By gathering this information we can suggest several ways that graphic design can help promote your services, products and ideas.

PHASE THREE - Strategy and Positioning

Now that we’ve defined the problem, evaluated your competition, and researched any opportunities, we’ll present one or two fully developed graphic design concepts.

PHASE FOUR - Design Refinement

During this portion of the project we refine the design to better suit the needs of the project. Feedback from you and others at your company is used to make important changes to help fit the graphic design project into your business strategy until it takes shape.

PHASE FIVE - Project Completion

Once the final designs are approved, the project is sent to the printer. Depending on the printer and the graphic design project, it can take anywhere from a week to several weeks to finish production. In general, graphic design projects such as stationary design and brochure design can take as little as 7 to 10 business days to print.
